We have now finally launched the new HSPC Control System and integration of the Plesk Control Panel is now completed.
Below we answer some common questions we have received.

Contents

[edit] What has Changed?

Everything except your actual hosting account.

  • The central login server has gone
  • Rather than having 2 logins one for billing and one for Hosting there is now just one login for everything
  • Single login also has your ticketing system access built in.

[edit] What extras do I get?

  • Not much initially but this new system will allow us to launch new services quicker and spend less time on billing support issues.

[edit] What more control do I have

  • You now have control over all your domains from one login, .uk domains are now supported.
  • Have multiple credit/debit cards and assign them to specific subscriptions.
  • Set whether a card can be used for recurring automatic payments or not.
  • Order/Cancel/Upgrade all your subscriptions via your single login
  • View full invoices/statements online
  • Ability to change the billing cycle, for example you can change from monthly to yearly on all hosting accounts.

[edit] What problems have been fixed

  • Inability to manage .uk domains (ie Nameservers)
  • Suspend/re-activate issues cured
  • Double invoices on failure of Payment Processing communications protocol
  • List views fixed. If you have more than 20 domains you can now search and list these correctly.
  • Overusage tracking failures fixed. If you go over quota you now have the option to upgrade or pay for the overusage.

[edit] What new services/Features are you going to launch?

  • New hosting packages to cover different requirements
  • Site Builder, This will allow you to design a professional looking site online using one of thousands of templates we provide.
  • VPS, Have your own root server giving you total control over how you manage your site
  • Upgrades to existing accounts (Completed)
  • Developer Packages. We are looking to launch developer packages for languages such as ColdFusion and Ruby on Rails.
